FAQ

What is Khtoom?

Khtoom is a platform for managing electronic document signing, approval, and document stamping, with secure links, request status tracking, and organized archiving for final copies.

Can Khtoom return the stamped file to the client by WhatsApp?

Yes. WhatsApp delivery is optional. If you prefer not to use your own number, Khtoom sends a temporary, limited-validity link from its official number and does not keep the recipient’s number or file for this. The document and its status stay inside Khtoom.

Can completed files be received by email?

Yes. When email delivery is enabled, Khtoom can email a link to completed and stamped files, and can also collect files that clients upload through a secure link. Storage and delivery are handled securely by Khtoom in the background.

Does Khtoom keep the client experience lightweight?

Yes. Client flows use focused links for signing or uploading, while the heavier PDF stamping and processing runs securely in the background on Khtoom’s systems.

Does Khtoom support two-step verification?

Yes. Khtoom offers an extra two-step verification layer for sensitive accounts, using a one-time verification code.

Is WhatsApp required?

No. WhatsApp is optional and can be enabled when needed. The organization may use other available delivery channels.

Is the file itself sent through WhatsApp?

Usually, a temporary, limited-validity link to the document or completed file is sent instead of openly sharing the file itself. This helps make the client experience faster and more organized.

Does staff need to use a personal phone number?

No. A team member can use their own WhatsApp, or send from Khtoom’s official number so the personal number stays private. Only a temporary link is sent.

Is a signature completed through Khtoom legally accepted?

Khtoom helps create a structured and traceable electronic signing workflow, but legal acceptance depends on the country, document type, identity of the parties, verification method, and the organization’s internal policies. Some documents may require special legal or verification requirements. For sensitive cases, consult a qualified legal professional.

How are links protected?

Khtoom is designed to protect document workflows with temporary limited-validity links, clear user permissions, and activity logs that help organizations track actions.

Does Khtoom support Arabic, English, and Hebrew?

Yes. Khtoom supports Arabic, English, and Hebrew experiences for public pages and recipient workflows.

Where are final copies stored?

Final signed or approved copies are stored in an organized record or archive inside Khtoom, so they are easy to return to when needed.
